Avatar

The first thing to choose is your avatar. Napster Spaces has dozens to choose from. Or, if you want something custom you can upload a 16:9 image of your own that you want converted into an avatar. There are some guidelines for uploaded images so be sure to check those out first.

Environment

For the full page and embedded deployment options, the environment is the background. Napster Spaces automatically generates a background based on the URL you entered at the outset. It will provide you with several options to choose from. Or, once again, you can upload a custom background.

Knowledge

This is where you can upload additional resources and assets to train your AI agent. Your website will already be there, but if there are specific links or documents you want to include, you can add them here. Napster Spaces accepts PDF, Powerpoint slide decks, and CSV files. You can upload as many assets as you need. This is also an area where you can return to as new products or services become available, so you can make sure your agent remains up to date.

FAQ

If you anticipate specific questions about your products or services, you can build out desired responses right in the editor. These Q&A items aren’t a strict script for your AI agent, but rather they provide a workflow for when the agent encounters these questions.

Welcome

How do you want to greet new visitors? This is your opportunity to script out a welcome message. If you want to drive visitors to specific products, services, or options, you can add custom prompting questions here, too. You can have up to four starter questions.

Deflect

Are there topics you want your agent to avoid mentioning? The deflect feature is optional, but it enables your AI agent to tactfully redirect questions that may create friction with visitors. You can see in the example below that I added politics as a topic for this test agent to avoid.

Prompt

This is the section where you can define the demeanor and personality of your AI agent. Napster Spaces automatically generates a ‘look and feel’ based on the original URL. But this is your opportunity to refine or elaborate on how you want your avatar to behave.

Preview & publish

The final step here is to choose how you want to deploy your AI agent. You have the option of creating a full size web page, embedding it into your existing website as a module, or using the agent only. This last option is most similar in look and feel to the chatbots that already exist, but it has all the functionality of Napster Spaces.
